. grated Parmesan cheese
. fresh red tomato
. sliced turkey (I used deli bought oven smoked, choice is up to you)
Now I'm no chef, but I do love tomatoes. In fact, I'm currently eating some Publix deli bought bruschetta. Basically I was experimenting one day with different ingredients and tomatoes. eventually I found an amazing combination of turkey and tomatoes. So this is basically my directions for making this extremely easy to make, delectable finger food.
1. Slice fresh red tomato into 2-3 cm thick slices
2. cut each tomato slice in half horizontally disposing of the rounded ends.
3. place each slice on tray flat side down
4. cut sliced turkey into 1-2inch width slices
5. fold (or roll-up) turkey slices and place on top of tomato slices
6. sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese lightly atop the toppers at own discretion.
and there ya go! Like I said I am no chef, and this recipe leaves much room for alteration and refining. But try it, if you love tomatoes as much as I, you should love it. |
