AMERICA'S TOP MENU CONTEST DETAILS!!!

AMERICA’S TOP MENU COMPETITION

Dinersnation.com is looking for America’s best menu. If you think you have what it takes, listen carefully while we break down the rules and guidelines for submission.

JUDGING

Menus will be scored on 7 different categories. Each will be given a rating of 1 to 10 (10 being the best).

Categories

1. Variation of Items
2. Graphics
3. Creativity
4. Layout
5. Concept
6. Readibility
7. Marketability

Since we can’t taste the food, we will not have strong emphasis on the actual recipes. Judges will be named on February 15th, 2008. Only Industry professionals will be selected to judge this competition.

PRIZES

1st PLACE PRIZE: Lifetime premium membership on Dinersnation.com. Featured profile for one week and front page web article. Beautiful wall plaque with the title of “America’s Best Menu 2008.”

2nd & 3rd PLACE PRIZE: Lifetime premium memberships on Dinersnation.com. Featured profile for one week. Wall plaque for restaurant with appropriate placement.

Individual prizes will go to “BEST OF “ for each category. If you don’t think you have the best menu overall, but you excel in a certain category, SEND IT IN!

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUBMISSION

1. Must send menu in PDF, JPG, JPEG, Word Doc, PNG or PDS format only. If you decide to physcially mail us your menu, it needs to be printed on high quality paper.

2. Include short summary describing restaurant, bar or catering service. One paragraph only!

3. All food and beverage service companies can enter. This includes caterers, personal chefs, cocktail menus etc…

4. Please include your name, chef’s name, type of cuisine, address, phone number, email and website link (if available).

5. Entrys must be sent to menucontest@dinersnation.com or mailed to 311 Stillwater Cove, Destin, FL 32541. You will not receive your menu back if it is mailed.

6. Deadline is March 1st, 2008 for submissions!

7. Top 10 finalists will be selected and users will help vote for the top 3.
