Cafe Kandahar has been a cornerstone of Whitefish dining for the past 22 years. We are located in the beautiful Kandahar Lodge in the heart of the village at Big Mountain Ski and Summer Resort, and are less than 25 miles from majestic Glacier National Park. Our main dining room showcases the beginning years of Big Mountain with wonderful black and white photographs of the proprietors and skiing legends that helped build the Ski Resort during the 1950's. Our tradition of fine dining and efforts towards continued culinary excellence distinguishes us as a premier dining establishment recognized by travelers and locals alike.
Our season runs mid-June to the end of September, and then again from early December through mid-April.
